Operation & Maintenance
Keep Your Solar Performing for Decades
Commercial solar is a long-term investment. Our maintenance plans keep it safe, legal and working at its best. We monitor it, inspect it, clean it and fix faults fast.
Why Maintenance Matters
Small Problems Cost More Than You Think
Solar has no moving parts, but it still needs looking after. Dirt, birds, loose connections, inverter faults and damaged cables can quietly cut output. Some can also be a safety risk.
Regular monitoring and planned maintenance catch these early. They protect your warranties and help keep your insurer happy, so you keep getting the savings you paid for.

Solar Maintenance Questions
How often should commercial solar be maintained?
Most commercial systems benefit from at least a yearly inspection, with remote monitoring in between. Dusty sites, sites with lots of birds and larger systems may need more visits.
Do you maintain systems you didn’t install?
Yes. We maintain business systems fitted by other installers. We start by checking the system’s condition and its paperwork.
Does solar panel cleaning make a difference?
It depends on your site. Dirt, bird droppings and debris can cut output, especially on flatter roofs and near farms or industrial sites. Monitoring shows when cleaning is worth it.
Will my insurer ask about maintenance?
More and more, yes. Insurers may ask for proof of how it was installed, inspected and maintained. Read our article on whether your insurer will accept solar on your roof.
What happens if my system develops a fault?
Monitoring tells us when output drops. We find the cause, arrange repairs and deal with manufacturers on warranty claims if needed.
How much does a maintenance plan cost?
It depends on system size, how easy your site is to reach and the cover you need. We give you a clear, fixed yearly price after checking your system.
