Solar Panels for Hotels, Pubs and Restaurants
Kitchens, laundry, air handling and guest rooms use power from early morning to late at night. We design and install solar panels and batteries that cut those bills, while your doors stay open to guests.
Your Challenges, Solved
Solar Built for Busy Hotels
Hotels never really close, and your guests come first. Here’s how we make solar work for you.
High energy use, all day
Kitchens, laundry, lifts, ventilation, lighting and hot water run from breakfast to last orders.
You use almost all the solar power
Your demand is steady through the day, so nearly all the power the panels make is used on site. That means bigger savings and a faster payback.
Guests and staff on site 24/7
You can’t close rooms or restaurants, and nobody wants noise, mess or blocked entrances.
Safe install, hotel stays open
We plan deliveries, lifting and roof work around your occupancy, keep work areas away from guests and switch over the electrics at a quiet time. Our own team manages safety under CDM (the UK construction safety rules).
Morning and evening peaks
Breakfast service, dinner and guests returning to their rooms push demand up when the panels make less power.
Battery storage
Store solar power from the middle of the day and use it for the evening rush, so you buy less power at peak prices.
Large, complex roofs
Hotel roofs often have hips, valleys, plant rooms and several levels.
Designed around your roof
We survey the roof, check its strength and lay the panels out around plant, access routes and shading to get the most from the space.
Guests and corporate clients asking about sustainability
Business travellers, event bookers and booking platforms increasingly look for greener hotels.
Results you can show people
Live data on what your panels produce, plus carbon savings you can use in ESG (environmental) reports, tenders and marketing.
Budgets tied up in refurbishments
Rooms, kitchens and public areas compete for the same capital.
No-upfront-cost options
With a solar PPA (a funder pays for the panels and you buy the power) or finance, you start saving without a big upfront cost.

FAQs
Hotel & Hospitality Solar Questions
Will the hotel need to close during installation?
No. Both of our hotel projects stayed fully open. We plan deliveries, lifting and roof work around your occupancy and switch over the electrics at a quiet time.
Will our guests be disturbed?
We keep work areas fenced off and away from entrances, guest routes and outdoor seating, and agree working hours with you so noisy work happens at sensible times.
Is solar worthwhile for a pub or restaurant?
It can be. Kitchens, cellar cooling, refrigeration and lighting use plenty of power, and batteries can save solar power for evening service.
Who deals with the grid connection?
We do. Larger hotel systems need G99 approval (permission to connect) from your local network operator. We prepare and manage the application for you.
We have little capital. What are our options?
With a solar PPA, a funder pays for the system and you buy the power at a lower rate. Finance is also available, so you can start saving without a big upfront cost.
