Commercial Rooftop Solar
Turn Your Business Roof Into a Long-Term Energy Asset
We design, install and connect solar panels on business roofs across the North West. You cut your daytime energy costs and take more control of your power.
Why Rooftop Solar
Your Biggest Unused Asset Is Probably Over Your Head
Most businesses use most of their electricity in daylight, just when solar panels make the most. Every unit you make on your own roof is one you don’t have to buy from the grid.
Big, unshaded roofs on factories, warehouses, shops and farm buildings work best. We look at your roof, your energy use and your grid connection. Then we design the system that gives you the best return, not just the biggest one that fits.

The Benefits
Why Businesses Choose Rooftop Solar
Lower costs, more certainty and proof of real green action, from a roof you already own or lease.
Lower Energy Bills
Use the power you generate on site and buy far less from the grid during the working day.
Protection From Price Rises
Lock in part of your energy costs for decades and worry less about price swings.
Hit Your Carbon Targets
Cut the carbon from the power you buy (your Scope 2 emissions) and show customers, tenants and suppliers real action.
Tax-Efficient Investment
Solar can qualify for capital allowances, so you may be able to take the cost off your taxable profits. Your accountant can confirm.
Low Maintenance
No moving parts, so solar needs little upkeep. Regular checks and cleaning keep it working well.
Flexible Funding
Buy it outright, spread the cost with finance, or pay nothing upfront with a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

Commercial Rooftop Solar Questions
How much does commercial rooftop solar cost?
Cost depends on system size, roof type, access and your grid connection. After a free site survey we provide a fixed proposal with costs and projected savings. Our commercial solar cost guide explains the main factors.
Is my roof suitable for solar panels?
Most metal, flat and pitched business roofs can take solar. During the survey we check direction, shade, condition and how much weight the roof can carry. Fibre cement and older roofs need extra checks before any work starts.
Do I need planning permission?
Many business rooftop systems count as permitted development, so don’t need planning permission. But rules apply, for example in conservation areas or on listed buildings. We check this for your site during design.
Do you deal with the grid connection?
Yes. Most business systems need approval from your local electricity network (DNO). This is called G99. We prepare and manage the application for you.
What equipment do you install?
We specify panels from LONGi, JA Solar and DMEGC, and inverters, optimisers and batteries from SolarEdge, SolaX, Fox ESS, Sunsynk and Sigenergy, choosing the right combination for your roof, energy use and budget.
Can I get solar with no upfront cost?
Yes. With a solar Power Purchase Agreement a third party pays for the system and you pay for the electricity it makes, usually at a lower rate than the grid. Finance options are also available.
How long do solar panels last?
Good panels usually come with long performance warranties and are built to keep working for decades. Inverters (the box that converts the power) usually need replacing once in the system’s life. We explain all warranties in your proposal.
