Commercial Solar Panels in Wales
We design and install commercial solar, battery storage and grid connections for businesses and farms across Wales. That includes the industrial estates of Deeside and Wrexham, plus farm sites and manufacturers all over the country.
Industrial estates, valleys and farmland, all ready for solar.
Wales has strong manufacturing and some of the UK’s best agricultural land for solar.
Solar in Wales
Commercial Solar for Welsh Businesses
North East Wales is one of the UK’s main manufacturing areas. Big industrial estates at Deeside and Wrexham are home to aerospace, car, food and engineering firms. Further south, the valleys and coastal towns have a long industrial history of their own.
Across rural Wales, livestock and dairy farms have barn roofs and land that suit rooftop or ground-mounted solar. Many add battery storage (batteries that save solar power for later) to cover early mornings and evenings.
From our North West base we work across Wales. We handle everything: design, grid applications, safe installation and handover.

FAQs
Solar in Wales: Common Questions
Who is the grid operator in Wales?
North and Mid Wales are covered by SP Energy Networks. South Wales is covered by National Grid Electricity Distribution. We prepare and submit G99 applications to both.
Do you work across all of Wales?
Yes. We often work in North East Wales, close to our North West base. We also take on projects across Mid and South Wales.
Is ground-mounted solar suitable for Welsh farms?
Often, yes. Lower-quality land can take a ground-mounted array (panels on frames on the ground), and sheep can still graze around the panels. You may need planning permission, and we’ll advise you on this.
Can we install solar without paying upfront?
Yes. With a solar PPA (power purchase agreement), a funder pays for the system and you buy the electricity at a lower rate than the grid. Finance options are also available.
