Why Choose Us
Commercial-Grade Expertise, on Your Roof
Most home installers only do houses. Our team designs systems for hotels, factories and councils, and brings that same standard to your home.
Designed, Not Guessed
We size your system from the power you actually use, which way your roof faces and any shade, so it does what we say it will.
Grid Paperwork Handled
We tell or apply to your local electricity network (your DNO) for you. We’ve done 300+ G99 grid applications, so it’s second nature.
Safety First
We have NEBOSH-qualified health and safety experts in our team, so scaffolding, roof work and electrics are planned properly.

FAQs
Home Solar Questions
Is solar worth it in the North West?
Yes. Solar panels work on daylight, not heat, so they work well across the North West, even on cloudy days. Your savings depend on how much power you use, your roof and whether you add a battery. After the survey, we’ll give you honest figures for your home.
Do I pay VAT on solar panels and batteries?
Right now, solar panels and batteries fitted to homes have 0% VAT, thanks to a government tax relief on energy-saving products. We’ll confirm this on your quote.
Do I need planning permission?
Most home solar doesn’t need planning permission. Listed buildings, conservation areas and flat roofs can have extra rules. We check this for you.
Should I add a battery?
A battery lets you use your own solar power in the evening instead of buying it from the grid. It’s usually worth it if you’re out in the day or use lots of power in the evening. We’ll give you honest advice either way.
How long does installation take?
Most homes take one to two days. Scaffolding usually goes up a little before. We’ll agree dates with you and keep disruption low.
Can I add a battery to my existing solar panels?
Usually, yes. Many batteries can be added to the panels you already have. We’ll check your current setup at the survey.
How long do solar panels last?
Good panels are built to keep working for decades and usually come with long warranties from the maker. We explain every warranty clearly in your quote.
